Heh sorry ah i really very infrequent in hlogging nowadays. Really busy. Just finished one exam, and got 2 more essays coming up, to which i have not researched or thought about at all. Power lar!!

Anyways, nothing interesting to update so i shall just post some photos of handsome ol' me and some cute kids during the Yishun last session.

Now the one in orange in the centre is my kid Calvin. He is really power. Like can cry when he doesn't get to play games, can threaten to beat ppl up for laughing at him, then dun listen to his teachers all that. Some more he damn hao lian. When we gave him an award for being the "Most Helpful" student award, he really yah yah papaya lor. Kept showing his cert off to everyone around him, and posing with the cert so unabashedly. Kow. Muz learn to be as modest and unassuming as his teacher, me, what. Wah lao when i got 38/40 for my English essay, and my teacher read it out to all her 5 classes in the level, and kept praising my use of metaphors and analogies, and the fluidity of my writing, and my superb use of adjectives and the interesting twist at the end, i also never hao lian and tell other people wat.

But the funniest thing is that when he realised that he wasn't going to see us for a long time, he actually became quite sad. He came over to me before he left, and whispered: "eh u all go long long time huh?" I said yes, then he looked quite lost. Guess in the past 2 months plus, i did get through to him. Ha.

Nah this cute pretty kid is Yue En. Again i must stress that i'm not a paedophile hor. I just think she's very cute. Heh. All the volunteers were clamouring to take photo with her lar. But she dun talk one, always smile shyly. Ha. But i just realised my t-shirt is damn inappropriate lar. Shit.

Wah!! Its been 20 days since i've last hlogged. Ha i'm so sorry to all my loyal fans. Well there's been a lot going on in my life lately la, so a bit busy lor. Got CSC stuff to do, since we've taken over after AGM, meetings to attend, chalets to get high at, and some personal stuff to handle too. Anyways, will try to hlog more regularly hor.

First up, some good news (at least for me): I did not get fined for speeding!!! Muahahahahahaaa!!!

Yes, cos the traffic ppl saw my photo in their database and decided i'm too handsome to fine liao. So they onli give me 'advisory warning' which reads something like: "You could have been fined $130, and docked 4 points for your speeding offence, but we will not do it." Finally being handsome has helped. Hur hur.

Anyways, I know now that everyone is very stressed and tired out from all the shit that we have to do to get that piece of paper when we graduate. Me too. But i've learnt that doing stuff that u really enjoy is critical to your mental well-being. Like when i play with the Yishun kids, you really forget all your problems. Maybe cos i'm degenerating to their level, but a little childish play never hurt anyone. I am just so glad that i found volunteering cos it really brings immense satisfaction and even fun. Like i was trying to make Kelvin, my little 7 yr old student, read a book. He's always very naughty and rebellious and he's always screaming and hitting his other playmates. When i was trying to make him read, he walked off to play with some dolls in a dollhouse (yes, a true metrosexual in the making) I tried to pull him back, but he refused and scolded me. I was damn frustrated and sian, so summoning up my best Ah Long look, i sternly told him that i'm not gg to teach him again, and that i'll not come back next week to take him liao. He immediately looked up at me with those innocent eyes (which can turn devillish in an instance) and said: "Huh, why u not coming?"

"Cos u're so naughty lor."

He looked stunned for a moment, then he slowly walked back to the chair, picked up the book, then started reading. And he read the best in all the weeks i've taken him. Moments like these are really valuable, and they make u treasure and realise how much of a difference all of us are making whenever we volunteer.

There are a lot of things going on in my life now, some of which i'm not even sure i'm ready for, or whether i should even be thinking so much about. But i would just like to thank all my friends for being there for me and listening and offering advice (though some of the advice quite cock). I was discussing this topic with my friends the other day, and we came to the conclusion that friendship is something so elusive but so desirable. I guess at our age, the friends u have now should stick with u for life, for better or worse. Ha. Like they'll be the ones who you will graduate with and take photos together, they'll be the ones u will treat when u get your first pay, the ones u go on a long backpacking trip with, the ones u go to bitch about your boss, the ones who will be playing your bridegroom or bridesmaids, the ones that will nao dong fang with you (err not in that way u pervs!!!)

Quite some time ago, i was talkin to Winson Ed, Andrew they all about this. Then we sort of agreed to be each other's bridegrooms. Ha. Like we all do for each other on a rotational basis. I think its a reflection of how old we are when we start discussing about this kind of thing liao. Hur hur.

I have an exam in a week's time (yes exam not just a test) and i haven really started on it. So i shall!!!
