I know. Its been 3 (alright, 4) long months since i've written anything here. What with writing essays (or pretending to write) and going par-toring, i have had no time whatsoever lar.

The simple reason why i'm typing now, is because i'm in the middle of a rather dry lecture. The topic is interesting though: cloning. Ahh i see lightbulbs being lit up among all of u; i'm sure everyone has read someting about cloning for GP, or at the very least, seen some little nugget of information on the news. Very interesting and morally hazy topic yes, but one that does not beget my attention for 3 hours. I guess with age, my attention span is dropping...oh no!!

Typed some stuff then i realised that it might be very sensitive and cause me to da pi gu, so decided not to post. Isn't it sad that even when we write stuff on our own personal space, we have to self-censor?

Final semester does bring about a tinge of regret for most of us lar. Maybe not the FYP ppl cos they're so swamped and stuck in lab (neh neh nee boo boo i dun have fyp...) but for some of us, maybe u'll feel like u haven done enough in your years in NUS. Before i entered uni, my college friends would drone on to me about how u'll never be able to make close friends in uni, and that your closest friends next time would remain your sec sch and college friends. But shi meh??

I think the biggest, most precious thing one should take away from any phase of your life is the human, emotional connections u make. I'm lucky because i found some good friends in CSC, as well as CAC and i sincerely hope that a few years from now, i can still pick up the phone, dial their number, and talk cock with them. Its always rather sad when u look at your msn list, or phonebook, and realise there are some people that you can't imagine yourself talking to now.

To continue with my rambling, i'm truly and always amazed by some people in school. U see people walking around in barely there tube tops, and ultra-skimpy micro-mini skirts (not that i'm complaining of course) and of cos there are the guys who also wear such sexy attire, like mesh singlets that show off their nipples, or super short FBT shorts that show off their long hairy legs and curly hair from other *areas*. Eew.

But i htink the most amazing thing i saw recently, was this young man i saw boarding A1. The bus was packed as tightly as my 6-pec abs and this guy tried to enter from the front door, while people were still trying to exit (in NUS we do not really understand the concept that one door is meant for exit and the other for entering). Instead of retreating and waiting for the people to exit first, this young man decided to advocate the spirit of the Spartans ("TONIGHT WE DINE...IN HELL!!!) and never retreat.

He pushed his way past all the people (i counted about 10), all the while going "tsk, tsk tsk" and persisted in spite of all the angry mutterings, cold stares, and i think i heard some pretty colorful Hokkien words as well. Power lar.

Oh, and i just bought a new house. Show u all.

Nice right?
